This swank all-suites hotel in the heart of the Greektown/Bricktown area is well known for its exceptional guest service. It resides in a perfect location for business affairs, near the General Motors headquarters at Renaissance Center. The Atheneum is a converted 19th-century seed warehouse; its lobby is decorated with outsized murals from Greek mythology and the Trojan War. The hotel is surrounded by trendy bistros, clubs and restaurants and one of the trendiest, Fishbone's Rhythm Cafe, is right on the premises. Visitors choose this spot for the nightlife and it is also popular for romantic getaways. Families love it because the staff and policies are unusually kid-friendly.

One day get-a-way

Staff was friendly and prompt upon check-in and check-out. Room was bigger and better than my original expectations! Very clean and well laid out. An excellent place to stay.

It didn't hurt

no one loves to pay 200 plus for a room. Yet it didn't hurt so much once we arrived. The rooms were spacious and very well kept. \nThe staff and building were wonderful. We enjoyed our first stay and have returned many times scince.

10 Star All The Way

I and my Family would never think of staying anywhere else nor would we ever recommend anywhere else but The Atheneum. We can't wait to stay again.
