This one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and I travel a lot.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserI have now spent about a total of 12 months at the Westin Tokyo since I first stayed there in the fall of 1999. I simply LOVE this hotel, from the extremely polished professionalism of the staff to the extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. Non-smoking rooms are available, and the entire dining area on the first floor will be non-smoking as of late September 2004.
Moreover, the Westin is located in Ebisu, an area of Tokyo that is more residential and is only a short walk away from the National Nature Education Park. As for shopping, a Mitsukoshi department store is just across the street which has an extensive food court and grocery store in its basement. Also across the street is Ebisu Garden Place, chock full of offices, restaurants, and the YGP Health Club--a fee of 2,000 yen per visit gets Westin guests in.
Rates generally run in the range of 24,000 to 27,000 yen per night for a spacious room with either a king-size bed or 2 twins. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the ever vigilant housekeeping staff.
