Fomerly known as Howard Johnson @ Penn Station, this Regency Inn is a Midtown hotel that lies across from Pennsylvania Station . The architecturally impressive Farley (Central) Post Office is nearby, and the pulse of the city throbs around you. Also close at hand are Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, Macy's and Lord & Taylor. Times Square is also within walking distance. A free newspaper is delivered to your room each morning, and coffeemakers are available in each room.

Location: Brilliant Facilities: Very basic

It was cheap but not cheerful! Location was brilliant. Macy's is only half a block away. The rooms were clean but the plumbing left a lot to be desired. Our loo broke on the first night but they were v. quick to fix it. Breakfast is provided but is very basic. I don't know if I would use it again but would recommend it to anyone on a budget. After all it's just a place to sleep and wash in.

Avoid this hotel

This hotel is not a well kept hotel. The rooms are extreemly \nsmall and they are run down. Not \na good value for your money.

Don't go there

No running water, fridge not working, no plugs in sink and bath, carpets all dirty need I say any more???
