257 1-3 Charoen Nakorn Rd, Thonburi, Bangkok, 10600, Thailand…
More and Maps
Located on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya, this is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious resort. A low-rise, it is built across three wings and offers a real escape from the chaos of the city. Beautiful teak furniture and relaxing cool colors add to the tranquil feel. There is no doubt that this is one of the most beautifully landscaped hotel in Bangkok. The pool area, with its swim-up bar, is just fabulous, and you could spend an entire day in the warm soothing Jacuzzi. The hotel also has a number of great eateries including Benihanas and Trader Vics.

My partner and I have stayed at this hotel about eight times either on the way to or from Europe or to or from another part of Thailand. This hotel is an oasis of cool green calm in an otherwise frantic and hot city. The trip by boat to the Sky Train is relaxing and interesting as one passes barges and other river craft. The decor is excellent as are the meals and variety of restaurants. The 2004 Chinese New Year dinner and celebrations, dragon dances, fireworks etc. the best ever.We are looking forward to our stay in January 2005.

05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserMy husband and I stayed here in the summer of 2003. Honestly, words just can't describe it. It is just lovely! We were met at the front desk with fresh juice and cool cloths. Our room was beautifully furnished with a balcony overlooking the river and gardens. The grounds are lush and beautifully landscaped. The atmosphere is just wonderful. The breakfast, which was included with our room rate, was probably the most lavish and delicious I've ever had. (Who knew I'd love stir fried bean curd!) Before we arrived in Bangkok, we had made arrangements for another hotel. When we return, we'll stay here for our entire Bangkok stay. Probably the only negative was the location, and it wasn't really a negative. There is a river shuttle that takes you to a pier that connects to the Sky Train. Although it took 20 minutes or so to get to the Sky Train, it was actually very enjoyable, so no problem at all!
