W Chicago City Center, this beautiful landmark hotel, formerly the Midland Hotel, is located in the Loop's financial district. The exterior of the hotel is a fine example of the Chicago school of architecture, while the newly renovated inside offers a warm environment for both the business traveler and tourist. The hotel has expanded its room count from 257 to 369, yet it retains an intimate atmosphere.

It's totally not worthy to pay about 169 dollar and in a little small room- they called it " Wonderful Room!" I stay at this " Wonderful Room" for one night and the experience is not too wonderful. The bathroom is so small that u hardly can move in there. There is no sunlight in the hotel room, and plus their bell service took forever- around 3 hrs to take ur bags from downstair to ur room.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThis hotel is a fairly good value (I paid about $140 per night), but the hotel is surrounded by taller buildings, and there is, consequently, no view from any of the rooms. Though the rooms are comfortable and clean, the lack of sunlight makes them very dark. It was impossible to know even if the sun was shining from my 14th floor room. If you want to see Chicago from your hotel room, this is NOT the hotel for you.
