My husband and I had stayed at the sister resort in November 04 (Grand Vela All Suites & Spa). We went back in March 05 to the Club Vela Vallarta. It's very nice, not a 6 star like the sister, but worth the price nonetheless. \n \nThe food is very good, I believe the pricing for the AI is well within the accepted range for what you have to chose from. The restaurant Andrea was AWESOME. \n \nOur 1 bedroom had a lovely veranda that stretched from the living room to the bedroom. It overlooked the first of 3 pools and if you looked right - you could see the Bay. We enjoyed a lovely sunset each evening. \n \nStaff are friendly and most speak English. They also will help you with you Spanish if you need it!! \n \nThe location of the resort is within walking distance of the Marina and the shops and restaurants there. We took a taxi downtown to the Hard Rock and walked along the Malecon a couple of times. The cost of transportation is almost nil. \n \nGo - stay at either of these two resorts, you won't be sorry!!

Can't wait until June to be back at Velas Vallarta

This place was wonderful: the staff and the people were the most friendly and helpful people Ihave encountered while on vacation. This place is so great that I am headed back there again this summer. My family owns timesharing so we have been to many places...this one ranks among the best. The hotel is very clean and accomedating. The location is perfect! I was able to get around and learn the area. This will be my fourth trip to Mexico and my second to this hotel. I am very excited and look foward to the wonderful week I will spending there. I have encouraged other friends to call and reserve a room in this hotel. This is one of the best resorts!!!! \n The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The amenities were outstanding, and the food...wow!! The service that you get when you are there makes you feel like royalty. The entire staff makes you feel like you are number one on their list..I haven't seen that all that much thur my travels. \n I encourage anyone who likes to have a good time, feel safe, and feel like you would if you were royalty to go and check out this resort.

So Great

This Place was great you could do pretty much any thing that you wanted: Voliball, swim, boggie board, body surf, Tequila Voliball, or just hang out by the pool. Location was good the service was excellent. And The room was very clean. The hotel resturant was delicious.
