(Report Problem)When I go to amuesement parks, I normally skip the shows and just do the
rides. However BGW has packed 2 great shows in the regular price of
admission (about $40)which by themselves are worth top dollar. The Cirque
de Soleil type show which lasts about 1/2 hour is comparable to any other
show which fetches around $75-$100. And those don't include rides. The
other great show was Irish Thunder, a Lord of the Dance type Irish dance. I
was surprised by the talent, choreagraphy, lighting, and overall
presentation. A must see. Now for the coasters, Apollos Chariot is a must
ride. Plenty of speed, airtime, and more airtime. It never gives up.
Awesome ride. Lochness for being an oldie, still provides some unexpeceted
thrills. Big Bad Wolf is a nice plesent ride thru the trees. Only exciting
part is the final drop where you feel you will hit the lake at full speed.
However being a huge B&M fan, I was disappointed with their inverted
coaster Alpengeist. Too much speed (if there is such a thing) and not
enough tricks. No airtime, not enough rolls. i had to ride twice just to
make sure I didn;t like it. Oh well, they made up for this with Apollos
which is now in my top 10 list.
Best of all for BGW, no waiting in
lines. Beautiful park. Nice to walk around and take plenty of pix.
