(Report Problem)Incredible, filled with life and a experience you just can't miss. We went on a girl trip with my best friend and we just fell in love with this place. The stores are open til almost midnight and there's lots of restaurants. Of course there are a lot of expensive ones, but there's a lot of options (for example, there's a Pax restaurant on 42nd where you can't eat breakfast for $5 or less). You didn't visit NYC if you didn't pay a visit to Times Square.

(Report Problem)Times square practically makes your eyes water with all there is to look at.Go at night for a fantastic view and great atmosphere though expect queues if you gor for a drink or food in the area.Go just before 5pm to get on tv as MTV TRL is filmed here, one of many programmes taped in the area.

(Report Problem)I loved all the women who dress provacatively, but hated all the men who would grab each others butt while wearing hot pink, leather, skin tight nut-huggers. I had one grab my butt and I expressed my displeasure by kneeing him in the groin.

(Report Problem)I went to New York for the first time on Thanksgiving weekend. It was I think the most fun I have ever had. I took about 100 pictures of times square. It is beautiful. It is very lit up and fun. There is no place like it on earth. It wasnt so packed or crowded at that time. There are tons of vendors along the streets selling purses, watches, scarves, hot dogs, just about anything. Its nice because the items arent taxed and you dont have to fumble with change. Grand Central Station is marvelous and I never thought a place could look so marvelous. Maybe we can turn Detroit around to look more like NYC!?

(Report Problem)My first view of Time Square was a cab ride passing through early in the morning, and it was not very impressive. With none of the lights on, it's not as easy to recognize the iconic signs. However, I went back around 8:00 on night with all the lights on and it was much more lively. I visited on a Sunday night and hit all the major stores. Some were very impressive - such as the Toys R Us, and Disney store, but most were equal to or less then what I expected. There was a lot of the energy Time Square is known for, but working my way down to "1 Time Square" (where the New Years ball drops) from the Hershey's store, I was a little unimpressed when I came upon it. It didn't stand out as much as I thought it might, and you could almost miss it with all the pushing, shoving, honking and chaos. I suppose visiting it mid-week might have been smarter (say, Wednesday night) but I wasn't in town long enough to make such arrangments. It's definetly an experience to be had, and at least walking the street (even if you don't go inside the many shops) is worth the cab fare, but I could have done without the hour long lines (in the major stores), when trying to make a purchase.

(Report Problem)Everyone knows Times Square, and so its a must to see! One of the wonderful things about Times Square, is you choose if you spend money or not. Believe me, the view alone is well worth the time! If you do choose to spend money Broadway shows are a must, as are the wonderful restaurants around Times Square.
