A Must-See
The Museum of Science is awesome! Even if you don't think you're that interested in science-I wasn't-you'll still have a good time. There are so many exhibits to see! We spent five hours there, and didn't see in-depth everything; part of our group only saw half the Museum, it's THAT BIG! I would reccomend it no matter how old/young you are: there will be something for you!It far surpassed any other science museum I have visisted, mainly because of the wide variety of subjects covered: physics, geology, electricity, technology, biology, anatomy, and even current events with the Big Dig! The 3D theater was pretty neat-there were some pretty graphic bug images (eating other bugs, reproduction) that might not be suitable for very young children. Otherwise, you will love it! Walk there, or use the T and you will save tremendously on parking; also, you should get CityPasses if you are visiting multiple attractions-you will save SO MUCH money that way!

I am sorry, but $14 on a ticket plus an extra $4.00 for the "Mission to Saturn" show, was just not worth it. If you really have nothing to do durring the day and you are bored and just want to say that you have been there, then go. The museum in New York is SO MUCH BETTER. There was nothing to touch and experiment with. There was all reading material. There was so much, i got dizzy. The only active hings they had, it was impossible to play with because people were so bored they would spend so much time on it, it became too long to wait. Their animal exibit is a 10x10 size room with ten fish tanks of rabbits, snakes and empty boxs of signs written of the animal that's NOT inside. just missing. They had computers that had learning and interactive games, but the computers were so old it took like 30 minutes to just play. All so the games and videos playing on t.v's were all from the 1980's. So out of date. I think we had more fun in the gift shop. We spent the longest amount of time in there then any other room i believe. So you got absolutly nothing to do and wana waste time and $14.00, then go. If you think you want to have fun, laugh and learn.....dont go. Go to NEW YORK, BABY!!!!!!!

The musueum always has something new for the local visitor and has something for the whole family. Should be ranked higher than the aquarium, which is great but does not change its exhibits as frequently. Read up on the museum and pick out what you want to see before you go. Always a good show at the Omni theater.

We had a lot of fun. Some of the exhibits are in need of some updates. But the kids enjoyed them anyway. The Electricity show with the lightning bolts is pretty amazing - don't miss that if you go.
