Best Time Of Trip!
Been there a million times. Used to live in Wouburn Massachutes. You should definately visit.It was the most exciting time of the trip!!!

This was a fascinating tour. If you really want to get in depth history, take the guided tour and you'll learn all sorts of things you wouldn't normally learn if you just walked it yourself. The tour guides are dressed in costume and talk as if you're actually living back when all the history occurred. Very interesting!

One of the great ways to aquaint yourself with Boston and the American Revelution. Can be a long walk for some, but is doable in a day. Rates right up there with the Duck Boat tours, which is probably better for children. My kids enjoyed both.

The Freedom Trail in Boston is a really intresting presentation of history. It's easy to find the Freedom Trail, the red and brick line that marks it's path is all over Boston, normaily flocked by people looking down at it. It's easy to get something out of diffrent sites on the trail without even taking a tour. Books and maps as well as postings at the sites tell you about the diffrent places. The thing that's not so easy about the Freedom trail is walking it. I read somewhere that it is 2 and 1/2 miles long. I know I walked more than 2 and 1/2 miles. I would recomend for others not to walk the entire trail or at least not all at once. It's nice to see the trail on your own so you can spend as much time as you want looking at what you want to look at but don't try to do the whole thing in an afternoon!
