A Memory I Will Never Forget!
I loved every min. there! The first place i went was pac bel stadium to see my favoriet giants play agains the LA Dodgers. Ill always remeber my very first visit to san francisco.

It a piece of history. I was suprised when I was a little kid, how much smaller it was than all of the other bridges in CA Bay area, plus its not gold! (We live in the Golden State, thats why they named it.) Every tourist must see it!

I would recommend seeing this beautiful bridge. The view from the bridge is breathtaking. Also, there is a small park on the Marin County side that is gorgeous. It's a must-see!

A marvel of engineering, after almost 80 years the Golden Gate Bridge continues to both serve our functional needs and to wow us with its beauty. From atop Hawk Hill, named because it's a great place to view migrating hawks, it is heavenly. The view will take your breath away. And, it's free! From Hawk Hill drive down to the beach. Another breathtaking journey; and, enjoy a walk along the surf. A mammal center is not far off; and, a youth hostel, a YMCA camp, and an old army barracks turned artist colony offers group and individual lodging (roughing it a little)but cheap. Golden Gate National Recreation Area on a clear day is a little slice of heaven.

I love to walk across the golden gate bridge. It is then you really get a since of the awesomeness of this monument. It is very windy at all tomes of the year, so wear a windbreaker at least. Park on the marin side and walk accross ( at least until you are over the water), but better yet walk the whole span!
