Don't miss this climb if you visit Edinburgh. It's easy to find, easy to climb and you get great views over the city and across the River Forth to Fife.

(Report Problem)Breathtaking views from the top, and from the reat of the City at the Seat. It is amazing that no-one ever got land greedy and built anything on top of this beautiful raw mountain right in the midle of the city of edinburgh. Correct footwear: it is quite a walk.

(Report Problem)Absolute beautiful view and the hike up isn't that difficult. If you could visit only one thing in Edinburgh, visit Arthur's seat.

(Report Problem)Arthur's Seat is great! I walked all the way up- that was tough- especially because of bad shoes and an incredibly amont of hail! But definitely worth seeing!

(Report Problem)Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park are like a little bit of wilderness right in the center of the city. This is the best view in any city I've been to and well worth the 30-minute climb. On a clear day you can see right across the Forth to Fife.

(Report Problem)Hiking up Arthur's Seat is a very pleasant and exciting way to spend a few hours in Edinburgh. My family and I only went a little ways up the rock, as we were pressed for time, but the views of the castle, the city, and the Firth of Forth were all breathtaking. I can't wait to return to Scotland in March '05 so I can climb all the way to the top of the hill.
