A Must See!

Fantastic, probably the best part of our weekend break. Good beer prices (was expecting to be ripped off) and brilliant live bands (Beatles numbers of course).

Where It All Started

For Beatles fans, visiting the Cavern Club is kind of like making a pilgrimage to Mecca. This is definitely the most renowned place in Beatle lore. We sat in the Cavern for hours in our time in Liverpool, listening to current bands do their sets, ending with the obligatory Beatles covers. (If playing a Beatles cover isn't a house rule, it sure ought to be) Between sets, there was real Beatles music playing, along with that of other acts that played the Cavern in its heyday. Even though I'm only 23 years old, the Cavern was a magical place for me.
