not worth it

one star

Nothing special.A bit away from all the historical places of jerusalem, resembles the old city market, prices are a bit higher and selection is considerable less.You cant go wrong with the old city market, awesome deals there and good food!!!

A Wonder for Your Senses

Any day is memorable to be in Mahane Yehuda. The sites and smells are wonderful, that is before you even sample the variety of foods that can be gotten there; from fruits and vegetables to baked goods and ethnic edibles. Be sure to go up and down each row to get a feel of the place and only then retrace your steps and stop to buy at the many stalls. Don't be shy to ask for a taste and in some places it is permissable to bargain. On Fridays before sunset the prices are drastically reduced, so if you can wait...wait. You are sure to enjoy.
