Go back almost every year
I lived in Rochester, NY for four years, and I return almost every year to visit family. Rochester is a wonderful city to visit, there are numerous things to do in the Spring and Summer months, and the weather is usually nice (sometimes somewhat muggy). The atmosphere is wonderful, people are extremely friendly, and if you are not staying in Rochester proper (downtown), safety is not a problem. I'll give it an overall 7.5.
