I can't think of another place nearby that can give you so many things to do besides Chattanooga. But Asheville is MUCH better looking than Chattanooga. There is something here for everyone, any age. Couples would appreciate more because Asheville looks like a love nest. Such vistas, beauty, plenty to do, plenty to see. I highly recommend no less than 2 days to see it all. You will definetely be moved by this great and amazing city. Great photo ops everywhere too!

Love Asheville so many things to see and do . And what a beautiful countryside!!! Many different genres to choose from for music and arts. Dining is wonderful. Love the auditorium & Bel Chere' is a great festival.Always find great room at a great price. I'll keep coming back to enjoy your fine city.

Asheville is a quiet town completely surrounded by mountains. You feel refreshed and adventurous with your first breath of air. My grandparents used to live here and I'm missing Asheville sorely.

I went with my partner to check out the area and we felt in love with Asheville. Nice city full of restaurants, coffee shops and galleries. Nice atmosphere and the locals are super friendly. Great escenery and awesome bars!

If you like cities that don't feel like cities, this is the place for you. If you like a fun-filled, rich night life, then stay clear. Asheville is pretty dead after 7 p.m.

Whats to dislike about this city, for me nothing. Sitting in some of the most beautful scenery, a plethora of bookstores, and some really interesting shops. If you're heading off to western NC, then Asheville needs to be a stop off. Have a pint at the mellow mushroom for me. If any place felt like a home from home, it's Asheville.
