Top of the World stay!
I absolutely loved my stay at the Stratosphere Hotel. The people there are extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. One thing I always look at when I stay in an area such as Las Vegas, is the security level in my hotel. The security level at the Stratosphere is very adequate. You can walk around without alot of concern as everywhere you walk there, you will see security people running around at the same time day and night at all hours. The room keys are not turned back in when you check out because new ones are assigned to each room at the end of someones stay. The casino end of the Hotel stay was also amazing. The dealers and attendants on the floor are super fun to sit and play with and if you need any thing at all, all you need to do is ask and they are more then willing to take care of your needs immediately. Again, the security level in the casino is superb. You absolutely must go to the top of the world while you are there and catch the most breath taking view of Las Vegas you will ever see. I would recomment this Hotel to all who choose to go to Vegas.....you wont be sorry!! Value wise, they are comparable to all the other hotels there. TRY IT!!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

I love the Stratosphere, it's a weeks vacation in itself. I love the Courtyard Buffet, the weekend brunch is the best. Roxy's Diner is great, I ate huge plate of food and great entertainment at the same time. Lucky's Cafe has good food and the prices are great after midnight. I had such a great time at the American Superstars show. Even if you like only 2 of the big names, you'll enjoy the whole show, becuase there is enough talent to go around. I enjoyed Bite, especially since I grew up in the 80's with classic rock. I would come back and chill at Oasis and watch the big screen when they were showing a concert I liked or I'd chill at Images and watch the live entertainment, especially when Frontpage Band is there. And going to the top of the Stratosphere is cool although it's not open air. I love the night!

Went to Vegas in March 2005, with the Strastosphere being on my list of things to see, and I wasn't disappointed. We started with dinner at the 50's diner Roxy's at the bottom of the tower and found it very enjoyable and affordable. The staff, food and atmosphere was great, and we recommend thier "6 pack of burgers". YUM!! Then, to the top we go! Only complaint, long lines!! We waited almost an hour on a Thursday night. We appreciated the security. Didn't ride the rides, and won't, but that is our opinion and we watched many people enjoy themselves on the rides. We recommend going and enjoying yourself.

If you ever get the chance to sit in the front seats of the Xscream ride, do it! It will terrify you. It was worth the price of admission. Even though I thought it was expensive to go up in the tower.

The roller coater was fun, though it is closed more often on windy days for safety. The restaraunt is excellent, highly recommended. ---If you're visiting in the winter months, bring a warm coat up there!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I went to the resturant, The Top of the World located in the Stratosphere. The view was absoulety beautiful. We went right around sunset and got to watch the sunset and lights of Vegas turn on. However the staff was very rude! First they thought we didn't reservations and dismissed us just because we are young, 17 & 18. We informed them and they didn't apoligize. We were seated and were offered water which is "from an iceburg off of Norway" (tasted like tap water) and were charge 8.50 for it! The meal was wonderful and they come and take pictures. We tried to buy our pics but they put in $555 for the charge amount when it was only $55 and my limit is $500. It didn't do through and agian we were asked to leave. I gave them another charge and called the credit card company and they told us what happened and we informed the staff and again no apology. Then it came time for desert which was good but to chocolately. Then we went to pay for our meal and agian they put in the wrong numbers and were very rude and public about it. My boyfriend had to go to the ATM and we payed after they very rudely asked us never to return. I wouldn't recommend it to young people b/c they are very rude. They only seem nice to the people who seem to have money. The food was wonderful but it wasn't worth the $130 spent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they enjoy being disrespected.
