The quintessential Western city, rich with the heritage of both Texas and Old Mexico. The geography is simply magnificent. The El Paso/Juarez City region claims to be the largest binational (border) community in North America with over 2.5 million residents. That distinction actually belongs to Detroit/Windsor (Ontario), with about 5.5 million.

(Report Problem)The city is just the right size, not too big to get lost, nor too small to get bored. You find all different kinds of cultures and great food. I can't wait to go back.

(Report Problem)It's difficult to know whether you're in the US, Mexico or somewhere in between. Therein lies the beauty of this West Texas border town, though. El Paso retains the charm and warmth of a small town, but also the amenities of of a cultural hub. History abounds out here.

(Report Problem)The town is a beautifull desert town. The highway system is really nicely designed. There are many great Mexican restaurants that serve REAL Mexican food. The women are gorgeous and are really nice. It's a good town for both young and old people. Juarez, Mexico is just a 10 minute drive. Overall, a perfect city to meet people and learn of a different conventional American culture.
