The Montrose Hotel is the only place to stay in Dallas
If you want a wonderful old hotel with class and big rooms and fine dining, the Montrose is the only place to stay. It's not your Las Vegas glitz; it has style and is near the best dining areas of Dallas.

Elegant & historical - my favorite hotel in Dallas
The Melrose Hotel is a beauifully styled hotel. If you're looking for something elegant and classic instead of modern and hip, this is the place. The rooms are huge (it is Texas) and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The bar is also a great place to hang out (I've spotted celebrities there twice). Overall, a beautiful place to stay.
