We have just returned from the Waldorf cant fault it great location beautiful position very near all attractions and tour bus just outside the door.

best new york holiday

amazing place, amazing location, amazing atmosphere, affordable room service, great staff... might not be as new as some 5 star hotels, but one of the most memorable places to stay

Will be back this summer!!!

I loved the whole atmosphere. Everything was very clean and pleasent. Everyone was well trained, polite, and did everything they could to show us that they cared!!!

A wonderful experience

Although, I spent only one night at the Waldorf Astoria it was all that I needed to experience their expertise and fine accommodations. The Waldforf knows how to do it right. My room was small and quaint and oh, so clean - perfect for my needs. Room service was prompt, courteous, delicious and hot. The overall beauty of the hotel can be compared to none - exquisite! I will be staying at the Waldorf on future visits.

BAD BAD BAD

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. MY CAR WAS STOLEN IN VALET. THE BELLBOY RIPPED MY SUITCASE AND THE VENDING SERVICES WERE NOT WORKING ON MY FLOOR.

Enjoyed the visit tremendously

Visited in 3/05; combination of free (awards) night & paying stay caused much confusion in the reservation, but the staff was friendly & gracious in working it out. Had to wait until almost 4:00 for the room, but it was worth waiting for -- spacious & well-appointed; the most comfortable hotel bed I ever had. Oscars' breakfast buffet is not worth the price, but dinner there was excellent and a good value. Hotel is a little distant from most things we wanted to visit. Ambience made everything worthwhile.

It's the most amazing hotel!!!

I visited NYC last October. I went strolling atound the streets and I was able to get inside Waldorf Astoria. The ambience inside was just AMAZING! I felt like screaming. For me, Waldorf Astoria is probably the best hotel there is in the world. The next time I visit NYC, I would definitely stay there. Love their Waldorf Salad, by the way. It's a must eat!
