The Palace Hotel actually corners on Market Street and is in the heart of San Francisco. Upon entry, you're greeted by a very sophisticated and gorgeous lobby. The weekend we were here, there was an occasional viewing of celebrities.
Our room was rich and tasteful and had a tremendous bathroom, complete with all the amenities you hate to pack for travel. The bedding was an incredibly high thread count and as soft as ever.
If you're staying through a Sunday morning, spend a little more and stay for their Sunday Brunch! It's the best I've ever had and easily the best in town.
