The hotel is located in downtown Seattle, good for taking in the attractions or for business. It's also a convenient jumping off place to see the rest of the city. For a small daily fee you can park your car in the garage next door. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable, a bit spare but we only slept there. One of the attractors for us was it is pet-friendly, even though we didn't bring our pet this time. The winter rates are reasnoable compared to the surrounding hotels, and was perfect for what we needed.

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever seen. I booked this for my brother who was coming in from Scotland. First room no lights, second room no heating, third room dried vomit in sink. When he talked to the Manager he refused to give the name and address of Corporate Office nor would he take a complaint. The attitude of the staff and management was such that they couldn't care less about their guests. I would advise against ever taking the chance on this place. I will also steer clear of the National chain once I find out who they are. My brother moved out to a Holiday Inn for a cheaper price and excellent service and facilities.

This hotel has fairly nice decor and great location. However, there is little heat and no A/C and the walls are paper thin - you can hear your neighbours. Recently renovated halls and lobby but service is iffy. I was checked in by a bellman! Where was the staff? So not bad for price but only if you want to put up with slight inconvience regarding temperature.

We recently stayed at this horrid hotel for only one night. Coming from Phoenix, Seattle in September was already cold for us, but the heat in our room didn't work and we FROZE. Our "suite" was a 12x12 cell with a bathroom so small that only one person at a time could stand in there. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillow was so lumpy I finally threw it off the bed and tried to sleep without it. The "deluxe breakfast" promised in the price of the suite was actually a small drip coffee and a muffin from the coffee shop downstairs. And don't think it's close to the water either, it's over half a mile and straight uphill. Not a little hill either, a huge hill. Stay at the Sheraton on the water instead, it's just steps from Pike St. Market and the rooms are gorgeous. Don't make the same mistake I made! Old world charm- HA!

We recently stayed for four nights. This is a basic bed & bath hotel, not a luxury spa...but then that's why the price is so reasonable. We found the room and bath clean and acceptable and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. It is well located within an easy walk to Pioneer Square, Pike Street Market and the downtown shopping district. The only regret is that while they do have windows that open, there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. When it's 80 degrees outside, so is your room. But hey, if you're going to Seattle to sit in a hotel room, then better to stay at home!

The Pacific Plaza is in a good location downtown, but we wish we had spent a little more for a nicer hotel. The hotel is old and our room was very small and not well ventiliated (it was hot!).

I can't believe I spent hard earned money to spend a miserable evening in this terrible hotel. No A/C. Elevator doesn't even go to the lobby (you have to walk up a flight of stairs with your heavy bags to get to the elevator). The place smells terrible. My room was smaller than my walk-in closet at home (the bed barely fit in the room). Even the ceiling fan was noisy (no A/C and I had to turn the damn fan off!). Stay far, far away from this snake pit!

Nice hotel, good rooms, decent value, but it's a little far up the hill from the attractions if you're walking downtown Seattle. Service was only okay, and I expected a little better. But the price isn't bad for a Seattle hotel.
