pleasantly surprised
We had been booked into this hotel before I read some of the negative reviews. So I was concerned when we arrived. I was "on guard." To my surprise all aspects of the stay were handled promptly and with a smile. Could not have been done better.

Will go Back Again
I have stayed at this hotel at least five times and each time I do, I am pleased with the service, with the personnel, with the rooms, with the cleanliness, with the location and with just about everything. They go out of their way to be helpful, especially to Americans I recommend this highly to everyone.

will never go back to this hotel
The front desk personnel were the most arrogant and unhelpful we have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. It is obvious they do not appreciate guests and especially americans. There were 34 in our group and the feeling was the same throughout the group. Asking help with problems in the room to directions was horrible. They should all be fired and replaced with women who apprciate the job instead of frustrated men who obviously do not like their jobs.

Great location, wonderful experience.
This hotel was perfectly within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see, yet felt like it was tucked away for peace & quiet. We loved the continental breakfast with great coffee, meats, cheeses, fruits, and cereals. The only negative was the cleaning staff. Evidently, not cleaning your room is not an option. If all you want to do is sleep in, the staff get a little testy. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience, and was clean & friendly.

Amazing
This hotel is located near everything. It is easy for you to walk anywhere and you dont have to worry about taking a cab to see some of the most beautiful sites. I loved it!!

good location and value
For the location, the Visconti is a great value. The hotel itself is fine - it's kept clean and basic. The best part is being able to walk to many of Rome's great sights.

This is the best place to stay in Rome, while it is in the center of everything it is nestled so you can have plenty of Rest And RElaxation

A wonderful place to stay!
This hotel is in the perfect location. The rooms are clean and
comfortable. The continental breakfasts are excellent with a nice
selection of meats, breads, cheeses, fruit.
An easy to walk (or
cheap taxi ride) to many attractions.
