Second to none! I love this hotel--it's a 5 min walk to the train station and literally minutes from cafes, banks, mini marts, beautiful parks, and a shopping mall. It is a stunning hotel; it has a grand lobby, a variety of restaurants(all types of foods)& a skybar, great room service (delicious meals), gym/pool/sauna. I got the flu when I was there, and they have a clinic on one of their floors and I got incredible treatment...felt like I was right at home. The staff is sincere and hardworking. A very elegant hotel---great for people on business, or people wanting to travel in style!

I stayed in one of the Deluxe Rooms on the Executive Floor, Deluxe rooms are very spacious for Japan's standards. Excellent value, good service and nice bathroom. Location is the best, right in the heart of Shinjuku and just minutes away fromt he subway.

In the heart of Shinjuku where you can find almost everything and easy access to Tokyo's comprehensive subway network. Rooms are smaller, but nice quality and a little bigger than most Japanese hotels. I've found the service to be very good unlike some other reviews. Some plans include free buffet breakfast in one of the restaurants on the lower level. Some English TV stations (CNN, BBC?) but not many. I've been to Japan over 20 times and stayed here at least 5. If I'm staying in the Shinjuku area, its my choice for value and location.

Of the hotels I stayed in while in Japan, I found Keio Plaza to be one of my favorites. If I needed anything, it always arrived quickly. (I needed to order a pillow that was not made of down feathers because I am allergic to down...) Language was no problem. (I don't speak a lick of Japanese, but employees would scrounge for someone I could speak with.) I found the hotel within walking distance to anything I needed (food, groceries, electronics paradise...) and being able to arrive at the hotel directly from the airport (about an hour ride) on a bus for only $30 was a steal.

BAD SERVICE AND CRAPPY ROOMS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Also the beds broke(and i'm not overwieght), the lamp didn't work, and the tup was all cold water. I couldn't get to sleep and they wouldn't give me room service because my room was too far up. The view was a building and the cost was way too high!

Very good hotel, but as all in all hotels we have seen in Tokyo, room and
bed are very small, bathroom is also small. It is a 5-star hotel, but room
size doesn't compare to 3 or 4-star in US.
Service was
excellent, location is great next to subway station and Shinjuku shopping
and financial district. There was no wireless internet in the room, but
there was free wired access. We were there on tour, but got two extra days,
it was very expensive but worth the price. We had to ask, but were able to
get non-smoking room. The breakfast was part of our package, very good.
