decent hotel in Montreal
I stayed their last week for a conference. The room was a nice size and comfortable. The bathroom could've been cleaner though - hair in the bathtub and old soap in the soap tray. The overall service was good. We had breakfast in the first floor restaurant several days in a row. The food was fine, and the service was good 2 days out of three. There is a pool and gym which I didn't get a chance to use. Wireless access is a joke. They only have cable in the rooms. And the wireless they have in the lobbies (that you have to pay for) doesn't work in the conference rooms!

Good location, average hotel, bad eggs
Stayed here for a conference over the weekend. It was nicely located close to shopping. The rooms were nice, but not sure up to 'Fairmont' standards. Ordered breakfast to the room, but the scrambled eggs were AWFUL. Although a decent hotel, If I came back to Montreal, I would probably stay somewhere else.

Won't stay anywhere else
I never slept in more comfortable beds in a hotel. The location is perfect! Staff is great. Food is not cheap but hey, it's a 4 star hotel ok?

Good Experience
The Hotel is very elegant, and very clean. It has a lot of resources close by including two restaurants and a mall underneath the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there, and would defintely stay there on my next trip up to Montreal.

Not even just ok
What can I say? Tiny rooms, expensive food, cold and stubborn staff

I have stayed at Queen E since May, 1969. Have made many friends and
created many memories. Last visit was Dec 2002. I send friends who are
going to Montreal to Q E. Friend and excellent employees are Carlos,
David, Le Voygeur and Daniel in Le Montreales
and Serge in Beaver Club.
