Very comfortable, if a bit weird
Local consensus says this is the best hotel in Tel Aviv. Though not up to
five star standards in Europe or the US, the hotel is located right across
from the best beach in the city and is convenient to shopping and
restaurant/nightlife.
I stayed in the less expensive wing facing the
street for $150 a night. Comfortable room, albeit a bit dated, particularly
the bathroom.
The public spaces sort of ramble in sort of a
disorganized, impersonal manner. The large, dark lounge in the lower lobby
never seemed to have anyone in it. Hotel has both and indoor and outdoor
pool (salt water) and a spa, though getting to it involves an elevator ride
to the 4th floor and then a walk up a flight of stairs, across an empty
roof deck, then back down another flight of stairs. Very weird
layout.
Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate and is
excellent.
