Perfect place in a glorious city!

I recently spent three fabulous days at the Hilton Dresden and can't wait to go back. I was last in Dresden almost 10 years ago, right before reconstruction of the Frauenkirche was to begin and the best part of this hotel is its location. It is perfectly situated right in the middle of downtown Dresden, mere feet from the gloriously rebuilt church. We arrived late in the afternoon, handed the car keys to the valet and didn't drive again until we left the city. The service was "Hilton standard", aka superb. The interior is beautiful, the rooms lovely, the spa and pool area wonderfully relaxing. Wait till you see the breakfast buffet! It was worth every penny and every moment. We'll never stay anywhere else.

Lovely breakfast, convenient location, comfortable room: We went right after the flood and appreciated the low rates.
