I telephoned this hotel from San Francisco at 6:35pm (San Francisco time)
to reserve a room & also asked how many streets from the hotel to the
nearest subway station. The reservation person did not want to help me
reserve a room or answer any of my questions. He told me to telephone the
hotel again between 1-3am (San Francisco time).
One would think that
a luxurious four star hotel would have reservation staff available any time
day or night, taking into account that travelers may be telephoning the
hotel from anywhere in the world & not necessarily in the hotel's time
zone. One would think that luxurious also means first class service even
if it's by telephone.
Needless, to say, I did not telephone this
hotel again & did not reserve a room.
