Overall

The Washington St. Regis was fine, but certainly not up to the standards of the St. Regis in NYC. Rooms seem to range from teeny to small--our first room had no sitting area, no closet, and a broken armoire. When we called to see if something better was available, we were told it would have no view--since the first room had a lovely view of a brick wall, we jumped at the no view room. It was a bit larger (at least it had a chair)! On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the toiletries were top-notch.
