Lovely hotel situated on a quiet road near the river. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The only gripe I had about the place was our room. The interior was lovely and it was very clean but the location wasn't good. Our window overlooked the kitchen area and we couldn't open our curtains all the time we were there. We should have asked to move but as soon as we arrived from London via Bangkok our tour started and we were so tired coming back after seeing the temples we flopped into bed! The rooms overlooking the pool looked good so book one of those.! The pool area is small but it was great after a day walking around the temples and the sunbeds were very comfortable. I must recommend a spa treatment. For around $24 with discount I had a wonderful body scrub and moisturising treatment. I have had treatments at the Banyan Tree spa and this was much better and a lot cheaper. What I liked about this place is that they have an Institiute of Hospitality which takes young people from disadvantaged backrounds and provides them with training in the hotel industry. This helps them earn money to help provide their families with food. There are cyclos outside that take you to 'Pub street' where most of the restaurants are located it cost $1 for a 5 minute ride, very good value and lots of fun. If I went back I would stay here again.
