I think this hotel is all about fluff. While the courtyard is magnificent and meeting rooms are large and accommodating, I found that the rooms were nothing short of average. I have stayed at other establishments where the rooms were almost identical to this one. I felt as though this establishment was long on visuals and short on comfort. Their bookkeeping system leaves a LOT to be desired. There were a multitude of errors on a 4 day stay and I was charged , as were others in my party, for things I didnt use. Resolving these issues is very lengthy.

My family and i stayed in this hotel for four(4) days and three(3) nights. Great hotel and location. Within walking distance of everything(I.E. White House,China Town, Smithsonian,HardRock Cafe, ESPN ZONE. The Metro is located in the hotel. We drove in on a Friday and didnt drive the car again until we left on Monday. The metro is the way to go... AAA+++++ value.. Parking is very high. $26.00 per day

I thought it was a extremely good bargain. Its nicely located in Washington and within walking distnace of most restaurants and entertainment. The hotel is extremely large with access to the metro in basement. I knew there were restaurants inside the hotel on the lower level but did not take advantage of these due to lack of education of amentities offered on check in. But would definitely go again!

parking was too expensive ($27 a day,,,we spent a lot $$$ in food for us and 3 childrens, shouhld'nt get charged for parking) , they are happy to see kids, quick to responde to a services call. (our TV remote didn't work , we had a replesment in 5 minutes.

This hotel is a great choice for being close to the mall, white house, capitol, and smithsonian. The hotel has a beautiful atrium with a pond, and dual level lobby area surrounded by restaurants, bars, and a nice and reasonably priced deli. The rooms are nice and spacious. Tile flooring in bathroom with granite vanity. You can choose rooms that have an outside view or a view of the interior atrium. Parking is expensive $20 per day with no in/out. Valet parking is $26 and does allow in/out. The breakfeast buffet was only average and not worth the $15+ charge. Wireless internet is $10/day. The entire hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice hotel with pleasing architecture, good location, clean and spacious rooms, and the good service always found at Hyatt hotels.

This hotel is a truly beautiful piece of architecture that is relatively close to many DC attractions. As soon as you walk in, you will most likely be amazed at just how beautiful this hotel is. The staff - from the conseirge, lobby desk, and housekeeping, are all extrememy accomodating and are very professional individuals who are always willing to make your stay a great one. We had a view to the inside of the hotel from our beautiful room. The view is breathtaking! We got a basic room and it was very elegant. They have beautiful marble bathrooms! The hotel is huge! There are even a few 'sub-floors'. There are also a few nice places to eat and drink within the hotel. The hotel even has a guest only path to the subway stop of the the DC Metro! If you are concerned about the price, go out on a splurge this on time -- you WILL remember your stay at this beautiful hotel!
