Winterhaven Hotel on South Beach: Reviews

Great value

Great value vacation hotel. Our room was smallish but quiet and clean, beach towel service is great, the roof deck is a nice plan to sun yourself, and you can't beat an Ocean Dr location. I loved the cute front porch, especially at night - great people watching. The staff was generally less than helpful - the only exception being the daytime woman with long brown hair. Otherwise - the night staff, the bar tender, and the breakfast bar manager were all less than helpful, even surly. Luckily, we didn't need to interact with them often. Note that there is no dataport, WiFi, or internet access. I was "working" for two of my four days and had to leave the hotel beacuse even though I brought a computer there is no way to connect to the internet.
