Cody is a destination place. We did not know there was so much to do there. Between the incredible museum complex with five museums, the rodeo, the river sports, the hiking, biking and horseback rides we did not stay long enough to do all that we wanted to do. We will have to return and make our whole vacation in Cody. Food is great, lots of variety, so much outdoor activities you will never be bored unless you want to be. The pace is slow except around July 1-4 when the Pro Rodeo is in town and the whole town gets out and celebrates. It is heartwarming to see the patriotism and love of neighbor in this small town way out west.

(Report Problem)Cody has the feel of the mountain communities in Colorado (ie. Vail and Aspen) with out the snobbery and cost.
