Algiers is very beautiful. Food is great and very good comodities. Went to the Kasbah to see the old part of town built by the Ottomans, it was beautiful. In the outskirts of town you can see Roman ruins, awesome. I stayed in the Sofitel conviniently located in downtown which had great staff and service. The food is amazing (try the Algerian sausages). Overall great experience and worth all the money spent. Hope you give it a try.

My holiday in Algiers was wonderful. The hotel El Djazair was quiet, secure, and the staff very helpful.The people of Algiers were friendly and eager to share the new Algeria with the world. The food was delicious and enjoyable. All prices in Algeria were very reasonable. I am looking forward to returning there for another holiday.
