Best Chowder on the Cape
It looks like a tourist trap, but Moby Dick's has terrific food and a fun attitude. This ultra casual eatery is the perfect place to take the entire family. The staff is friendly and the line moves very quickly. Despite all other claims, Moby's IS the best chowder on the cape. It is rich, smooth and tastes like clams! They also serve a terrific lobster roll and classic clambake. To avoid the lines, either arrive 15 minutes before they open for lunch or dine in the mid afternoon. Moby's also offer's take out - which is terrific to bring to the Wellfleet drive-in.
