I didn't care for all the crowds of people everywhere you went, you always had to stand in lineups no matter where you went. But I must say we were treated very well on our tour for all of the 5 days.

(Report Problem)This was my favorite thing in Nashville! When I was a kid, listening to the Opry, I could only imagine what it must be like to be sitting in the wooden benches, clapping for the living legends on stage. So it was a dream come true to be there doing just that. The line-up was a lot of people that I'd never even heard of - one-hit-wonders from decades ago, but Porter Wagoner opened the show, and that was a real treat to see him live and wearing one of his glamorous Nudie suits spangled with sequins. The show is non-stop from 7:30 to 10, so if you wanna go to the restroom, you risk missing one of the stars. The benches are cushioned & quite comfortable, and picture-taking is encouraged!! Since it's a radio program, flash-pictures are accepted, and the audience is allowed to come forward to get better photos closer to the stage. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, but don't try to even touch the stage when the show's over - it's closely guarded! There's a circle in the floor of the stage that was removed from the Ryman (original setting of the Opry), and was built into the floor here, where everyone stands to perform - that in itself is remarkable to think of all the performers that have stood there. A really neat place, and one that I'd like to attend again & again. HIGHLY recommend!
