Closest bookstore to a Barnes and Noble! Great cafe with homemade cheesecakes and great chicken curry, homemade chili and Lasanga. You can also buy flavored coffees to drink there or the packages. BOOKS-BOOKS-BOOKS! The book selection is great for all ages. Prices are cover price or less. Seminars cover a wide range of topics and even Turkish courses are offered.A real communty feeling and great bookstore to visit. Hours 10.00 to 6.30 Closed Sundays and Tuesdays. 0216 550 49 61

Just what the Asian side of Istanbul needed! A good English language
bookshop, with GREAT prices. The helpful, knowledgeable staff can also
order in any book of your choice.
PS An update to the blurb on this
site: sadly, the terrace has closed due to the requirements of neighbours,
but the seminar room is well used: with everything from Turkish classes run
by the TAUA school to authors talking about their latest books.
