Best meal we've had in Mexico. Ever.

We visited this restaurant in late March of 2005, and considered it world-class. The setting, overlooking Mismaloya cove, is lovely. Service was first-rate, and the decor very Old Mexico. But the standout was the food: all fresh ingredients beautifully composed, perfectly cooked. The price was one third of what our meal would have cost at a restaurant of this caliber in the U.S. The experience is well-worth the twenty-minute drive from Puerto Vallarta, and a must for guests at the nearby La Jolla Mismaloya hotel.

The ambiance was magnificent.

five stars

The white lights twinkling in the tropical jungle overlooking Mismaloya Bay. What a beautiful setting and an amazing view. The food was very good too. Just outside of La Jolla de Mismaloya. Highly recommend this restaurant, and bring a camera!
