This is the most romantic restaurant with breathtaking views, wonderful music and fabulous food. We go there every year for our anniversary and order the huge lobster dinner. The cab will wait for you during your meal since the restaurant is far out of town. Don't miss this one.

(Report Problem)Restaurant argued that the filet was beef filet--it was not. Texture and flavor were horrible and they did not take it off the bill nor offer a substitute. Beware that you will pay for the sunset not for the food. On the other hand, the shrimp with cilantro was to die for. Would we go again? I think not.

(Report Problem)The view was great!. I thought the food was above average. Fun atmosphere with good service.

(Report Problem)Our meal at Le Kliff in January '04 was by far the best experience we had in PV... so much so that we have decided to get married there in January '05. The food was delicious, and was served to us promptly and courteously. The staff was extremely friendly. And the view and ambiance are absolutely spectacular. We can't wait to go back to exchange our vows in front of our loved ones next month!

(Report Problem)Having heard rave reviews of the beautiful views at Le Kliff, my girlfriend
and I made it a point to have dinner there our first night in town.
Unfortunately, no view, no matter how spectacular, could make up for the
inedible food and horrible service we encountered. First, the restaurant
lost our reservation. After 30 minutes, they finally seated us, and
recommended the steak and lobster. From the time that they removed our
appetizer to the time we received our entree, it took 1 hr. and 20 minutes.
That's not a typo 1:20. Despite several inquiries, none of the wait
staff could explain (in any language) where our food was. They did not
apologize or even offer a complimentary drink. Their attitude was
essentially "sit and suffer."
Second, when the food
finally arrived, it was more dissapointing than the wait. The lobster was
overcooked and mealy. The steaks, which both of us ordered medium rare,
were inconsistent and tough. One steak was almost raw, the other was
burned to a crisp.
Finally, to add insult to injury, they
overcharged us for the meal by 10% -- a meal I might add that was twice as
expensive as any other restaurant in town. Unfortunately, we did not
notice it till after we had left the restaurant.
In sum, we had
infinitely better meals at other restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, including
a new restaurant named La Valentina, which we highly recommend. It would
have been one thing had we just waited along time. But, when combined with
the inedible food and price gouging, I'd have to rate this dining
experience as one of the worst I've had on a vacation.
