The Cayman Islands is a great and wonderful place. I would suggest visitors take time to visit the National Museum, Queen Elizabeth II's Botanical Park, Stingray City and the Sandbar, Rum Point Club & Kaibo Yacht Club as well as the Only Turtle Farm in the World! The Food is FABULOUS! The Cayman Isl. have been noted as having chefs that rank in the top 5 in the world! Great restaraunts to try are Lobster Pot, Ragazzi and Bamboo. If you're on a budget or just looking for local cuisine try The Champion House restauraunt and there are several others that your hotel information desk can inform you about. The beach and water is perfect! So don't miss out on the 7 mile beach and be sure to have a bowl of "RED" conch chowder and marinated conch! Of all of the islands I've been to, the best conch dishes i've found are in the caymans. I can't wait to return. I go down there every few mos. And each time i arrive it takes my breath away! Isn't that what life's about, those moments that take your breath away!

(Report Problem)I took my first trip to Grand Cayman in August 2004 and have just booked a return trip for August 2005. Grand Cayman is a beautiful, safe, and relaxing place where a single gal traveling alone can feel comfortable. One night my battery died and a gentleman, the owner of the cafe where I had dinner, was kind enough to jump start the car. My trip was wonderful-plentiful snorkeling, great food, friendly people, beautiful beaches, and great fun with the stingrays!! I can't wait to return this summer.

(Report Problem)The beaches were so beautiful! The sand was white and the water clear blue. There are plenty of restaurants/bars to go out to at night. Overall, the best island I've been to!

(Report Problem)The island is absolutely beautiful, the people are courteous and friendly. As a matter of fact I recently had a son he is now 4 months old and already I am saving to take him and my husband back to the Cayman islands for the an experience he will never forget.

(Report Problem)A very safe place to vacation. Have taken my family since my children were small....they have grown up going there in the summer. 7 mile beach is not crowded in certain locations.....very very nice! A most relaxing getaway.....great eating establishments. The warf is great...beautiful dock dining. Lobster pot is good...pappagillos (spelling) is wonderful!

(Report Problem)Seven Mile Beach is the BEST beach in the world! The water is about 85-90 degrees and it's great!

(Report Problem)I loved almost everything about being there. The public transportation was a problem because of the short hours of operation. I suggest you rent a car! The Lobster Pot was my favorite place to eat and the Natilus was a great tour and snorkeling. Nothing beats Georgetown's shopping, especially the price on jewelry. I'm actually going back in May!
