Probably one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. Don't be taken in by the so called 4 star rating. The rooms are tired and scruffy - our bathroom had mould on the walls - the restaurant has no atmosphere and breakfast is boring and meagre. A bad experience and complaints to the group HQ get shrugged off.

(Report Problem)Great village, with good food and fantastic views of the bay. Icecream not hard to get either. Ferries to Capri depart from the "harbor". It's very, very steep, with some miraculous achievements of building houses against the hillsides. Parking your car on the street isn't possible, but our hotel had its own expensive parking solution.

(Report Problem)It is a precious village perched in the coast. There are very good fashion shops. The view fron the road between Sorrento and Positano is also marvellous.

(Report Problem)Positano is one of the most exquisite places in Italy! It's well worth the trip and has more character than some of the more well-known towns on the Amalfi coast. It's more of a romantic, restful place - if you're looking for nightlife you should try a bigger town. But it's easy to take trips from Positano to Capri and other nearby places. The beach is beautiful and the food is excellent.

(Report Problem)This was one of my favorite places. It's hard to get to, but it's worth it. The ride from Sorrento is part of the lure. A bus will take you down a perilous stretch of road that winds around the edge of cliffs. The water below the cliffs is azure blue. The town is quiet and friendly. Time slows to a halt. A perfect place to spend with your love.
