Well i'm half italian and half english. i came to verona in august for 2 weeks, i stayed at a city in verona called Mantova. it was absoloutely beautiful. As soon as i got there in the beautiful sunny heat, i sat by the famous romeo and juliet building on the park/grass and basically chilled. it was so nice, i actually thought to myself "why am i living in england?". i enjoyed sitting there and watching the italian old women going crazy over their dogs biting each other, oh it was funny i must admit - and watching the amount of people who ride bikes around there, you wouldn't believe it haha. it's peaceful, but still has nice night-life. just beautiul bars for a nice drink or the typical coffee shop where i would go there one morning and have a cornetto and either a cappuccino or an espresso. when i landed, i went to this really nice bar/outside restaurant which was beautiful. for 3 euros i ordered the biggest red watermelon you could ever have! and ate it! it was brilliant - i can only ever eat fruit in italy, no lie - it's just better, you'll see when you try it. during that holiday i met a friend, mario, he was wicked, we had such a good time. went to the town, messed about, bars, etc, (i'm only 16 by the way) - it was just absoloutely wicked. i would recommend it to anyone. i have been mostly around the country because i have family all over in Naples, Rome, Verona, and other little cities - and to tell you the truth i love mantova/verona out of them all, honestly. italy is just oh my god i can't describe it. questions? chunky_wymer@hotmail.com
