Cuzco is the crib of the Inca civilization and you can find traces of it everywhere. I really loved the town and surrounding areas. Machu Pichu is a must. Just remember that when you get to Cuzco, you have to go right to the hotel, drink coca tea and lie on your bed for at least a couple of hours or you will get real sick (because of the altitude). Nightlife is very good, people like to go out to dance, etc. You will have both cultural and fun things to do. I loved it

(Report Problem)Cuzco was an amazing place to visit - not really knowing what to expect, it was amazing when we got there - you soon get used to teh constant honking of horns around the town, When you do a tour of the sacred valley - do not use a tour bus - splash out $50 (australian) have you own taxi for the day and your own guide - at your pace and the places YOU want to see - agree on a price before you start - our driver was amazing - with the little spanish we had a the little english he had- we had a great time learning from each other and seeing the 'real peru' Ypu must try the Guniea Pig. Machu Pichu is amazing - walking round the bend in the ath and having it all just appear was phenominal it is so well looked after and a must if you go to cuzco although a little pricy to get there - make sure when the train stops on the way there to get some 'choko' (Maize/corn on the cobbie thing) and a big chunk of cheese for about a dollar - it smells and tastes so good!!

(Report Problem)I absolutely loved Peru! Everything was great! I found the city people to be very helpful, however; when wondering too far out of the city the people were much more nasty. Stay inside the city or have a local with you and you will have a wonderful time!

(Report Problem)Cuzco is amazing, there is a lot of history and when you arrive to Macchu Picchu you can't believe it, it's just something that you are not gonna see anywhere else. Cuzco is beatyfull too, the streets, the rural houses, the main plaza, the restaurants, everything. I hardly recommend it.
