Fantantic holiday home in Algarve

Just back form a week in sunny algarve, staying in the lovely 3 bedroom place, Casa Lavender. always stayed near the coast, but inland is much more fun! You see much more of the real Algarve, and if you want to visit the coast it is less then 20 minutes drive. So much more relaxing, and this time of the year the smell of flowers is amazing. Booked through algarvehousing.net service was absolutely fantastic. Welcome great, with wine, cheese and local fruits, very warm. Thank you, thank you for discovering this! I will be back.

Faro

I went on a city-break deal recently. The place was shut, I mean the whole town. You really need to do car hire and get out to see the best eveb if it is only for the weekend. The shopping is poor with a few good restaurants. It's a nice place but they just don't expect you to stay there. If you do you must take the boat tour - take the am one so they can pick you up in the pm from the beach.

A fantastic holiday location

I went to Faro quite recently on holiday and its really easy to get to from the UK, quite a short flight and very little time difference but the weather is very different, sunny and blue skies every day I was there. The surround touwns and villages are realyl nice and I would definately go again. The flight was really quite cheap and I found a hotel when I got there. The beaches are also really good in the surrounding areas.

A n annual destination,certainly

I adored Faro.The Marina area, shopping, reataurants and friendliness of the people make this an ideal place to vacation,or retreat. Teatro Lethes, little cafes near the Cathedral, stork's nests;, Portuguese coffee,bread and cheeses are the best. Cataplana is sensational,as is all of the seafood in Portugal. Rick Steeves missed this one! And Tavira is positively magical.
