Awsome Historic Site
Place de la Concorde etait un place que j'aimais beaucoup. C'avait l'air de la Revolution, et c'etait tres historique.

The breathtaking fountains here are the center of the fantasy scene of the Gene Kelly masterpiece, An American in Paris. If you are a lover of great American musical films, you must visit. More importantly, the fountains have been renovated, and the sculptures and fountains are breathtaking. At dusk, if you stand in La Place de la Concorde and look up the Champs Elysse, you can see the Arch of Triumph dimly lit in the distance, and to the left, the Eiffel Tower rising from the Siene. The surrounding sculptures are also magnificent. Finding someone to take a picture for you is not a problem - we found several other Americans couples willing to accomodate! This location is also centrally located to at least a handful of other great historic sites. Standing here gives one a feeling of being at the hub of Parisean history.

Surrounded by great monuments, you should pass through this place while in Paris. Try to come when it's taken by pedestrians, such in a demostration.
