I visited the Musee d'Orsay in Jan 2006 for the first time. I have to say it was an amazing site to see. A once used train station adds to it mistique and allure and also its sheer architectural beauty. The collections inside are familiar to any art lover and another joy to see..Please visit this museum and experience its presence

(Report Problem)The building itself is quite beautiful inside. Look especially for the great clock at one end of the old station. And there can be no better display of Impressionists' work anywhere. I challenge anybody not to be moved by these spectacular works of art. Terry

(Report Problem)Well lighted areas from overhead glass of a past era train station. Open stairway access to upper floors is an adventure in architectural expression. Greatest display of Impressionist paintings in the world. Monet, Manet, Renoir, Cezanne et als, have found a deserving home.
