I have been here a few time, and I have to say that I have never paid to go there, and I don't think I would. Its mainland spain, but is on the coast so you do get the beach. Tempertures didn't meet my expectations, nor did the surroundings (all seemed a bit basic and touristy).

(Report Problem)it is a lovely place and it has all the thing that families need such as safe beaches, lots of shops and ice creem for the little ones. i recomend that if you want a place to take the little ones Salou is that place.

(Report Problem)On May the 15th will be returning to salou for the fifth time. My wife and I are both in our 70s and with it being level, good for all ages and above all convenient, for other places,(brilliant travel facilities both train and bus) try and get the middle or cambrils end, as the Cap salou end is hilly, we find the best hotels are around the Plac Europa, short walk to beach. and public transport, mini train, taxis, all call there Beautiful wide walkways by the beach, a safe beach to compare with anything elsewhere, and a small childs paradise. There are clubs and discos but not in your face, and good shopping, with a good market Sundays Around the Plac Europa Brit style cafes and bars A great and safe resort.
