great architechture, history , royal gardens ... very beautiful ........... great for shopping.. some very good hotels to stay in .. very nice to take long walks and the climate is perfect not too hot not too cold ... set amidst the hill makes beautiful scenaries ...

great people traditions and culture, great architecture. good accomadations plus plenty of places to visit. its a world heritage city.

The second largest city in sri lanka, ancient city , different archietecture form the rest of sri lanka, very good whether not too hot not too cold.. the "dalada maligawe" where the tooth relic is kept, the royal botanical gardens the kandy lake .. the city is brilliant .. www.kandycity.org .. a very good site with info on the city and its history
