Incredible! Puts Niagara in absolute dust, and even Iguazu / Iguassu is left behind (though the latter is easier to view because it consists of lots of small bits). By African standards it is very expensive - but worth every minute to see the world's most powerful waterfall. YOU SHOULD REALLY TAKE THE HELICOPTER RIDE OVER THE FALLS! Even if expensive, it's only then that you realise how it dwarfs even Iguazu! from ground it is just simply TOO big to take in at once!

(Report Problem)Stayed on the Zambia side over Zimbabwe, really did want to travel into Zim. Loved every minute of it, the Zambians went out of their way to help. Stayed at the Zambezi Sun, inside the park and a five minute walk to the river. Went at low water in March, still amazing, was able to walk right across the top of the falls and bathe right on the lip. Stunning natural wonder, really shoudl be seen before you die. If you are up for it physically, do a white water rafting trip from below the falls ... what a rush! Grade 3 and 4 rapids all the way ... does not get much bigger than that!
