The Tower of London, has had many of the Items removed from the Exhibition. The White Tower has appeared to have got smaller. Tyhe Ravens seemed to hav flown away as i never saw any. Many of the Cannons have gone

(Report Problem)I liked it because it was interesting to see all the things that happened years ago in the exact spot I was standing.

(Report Problem)I took my dad here on his first visit to London/UK. He seemed to have a good time, but the whole experience can be downright brutal for people not used to walking/standing for long periods of time. So if you visit the Tower/Tower Bridge make sure to wear comfy shoes and plan in lots of rest time! Other notes - very informative, tours are well-organised, and lots of interesting things to see. You can, of course, pick and choose what you want to see, and if you have the energy to see "everything" the entrance price is well-worth it. However, I can't imagine the day is really geared for children at all. (Not really pram-friendly as well as the exhibits are geared for an older crowd).

(Report Problem)I've been to the Tower on a number of occasions now, and loved it every time! It takes you back to a completely different era (it's almost 1000 years old!) when the royal family lived and governed quite differently to how they do now. Tickets can seem a little pricey but it's well worth it! I used a site called www.365tickets.com who sell at less than gate price with no booking fees. There's also an ice rink at the Tower every winter, which sounds good fun!

(Report Problem)We snuck into a guided tour and it was worth the risk. We also happened to go on a day when school children were visiting so they had actors in period costumes giving lectures. Out of all the sightseeing in London this was my favorite stop. We felt like we had been sent back in time. Well worth the cost of admission.

(Report Problem)don't know of any place with as much history and as many points of interest all in one place. only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars on value is what I felt was a bit steep ticket price

(Report Problem)I am a huge history buff, even though I'm only sixteen. Especially with the British Monarchy. This place is so historic and I learned so much from it. I enjoyed seeing all the old weapons and THE original portrait of King Henry VIII that I saw in all of my textbooks. It took my breath away seeing the same exact place where Anne Boelyn was executed and walking around in the tower itself. Besides- I got to see the crown jewels! They're gorgeous. I plan to go back one day.

(Report Problem)Very little has changed in the Tower since medieval times. You actually walk where the kings and queens once walked, not to mention all the other historical figures who passed through there. There is beauty in the buildings and the gardens, and horror in the dungeons. From the Crown Jewels to Henry VIII's armory, it's got everything. Enjoy!
